We part and come together through time Our lives ebb and flow like a gentle rhyme Satirical or spiritual the moments just mesh Something between us goes beyond mere flesh
Not from the same mold yet we fit together Our hearts and souls in sync forever Neither the same nor opposites, we just compliment A special link outsiders resent
Family and friends and husbands and kids All have joined us on this glorious grid The special ones become part of the dance Those not daring just miss their chance
How can I explain when I don’t understand Our lives are guided by a greater hand Without you I would never be whole Together through time we share one soul
