Poem Artwork

Played meself some golf today,
Wasn't bad I must say.
A birdie...some pars, bogeys,
and a few of the dreaded others.
But it was fun I must say,
Some more of it I will play.
'tis about time for me,
After all my pain and misery.
Made me feel again ......almost like me.

Sounds like you had fun and playing golf takes strategy and not relaxation. Taxing, to say the least. Good write!

Ain't got an Albatros yet? what you playing, minigolf?
Then again, if albatros are birds, then those birds of you are albatros?
Golf is as confusing as a limey full of guinnes.

Reminded me of how much my son loved to play golf.
His score never mattered, only that he got to play.
Sounds like a wonderful day!
