Ups and downs, they come and go. That is life, if it would always be the same it would not be good for us. We need to learn from strife and worship God for his blessings.
I don't know what trials or strife you face, but your poem shows a very unhappy state. Take each moment by the hand and try to shape it into something good is the best thing each of us can do. The uniform in the photo gave me a "moment" of surprise. I lived during the time of that war and recall Hitler's face as he wore a similar uniform.
