New York...UH UH

We walk down the street, Smiling at people we meet. Then one pulls a gun, sayin “Now you havin some fun”? Strange, we were only in New York, For a night and a day, Guess it just goes that way. Told the Hotel Manager the facts, He replied, with hand on hip, “Gee, a whole day? “Well, we must remember it is the busy season". ©2008 Walt Hardester

Brookling bridge by night, cabbies that only talk urdu, vendors trying to push cold leftovers, cops that wouldn't go out of the car even if mother demands it, muggers without teeth, muggers with teeth just waiting a Marine's kick in the face, New York New York, Sinatra most had smoked some Ed's grass.

Bummer! We had a similar experience when we went to Hawaii. It sure puts a damper on the vacation, but all in all we had an extraordinary experience. I hope that your 'holiday' was good.

The reason why I always was indoors before it got dark, streets can be very dangerous and outsiders are easy picking. Glad you are okay and sorry this happened. Let me see, is that the Brooklyn Bridge? The George Washington bridge is a double decker.

I guess that's why I like living in small town in Nova Scotia, Canada we may get mugged now and then but they always thank us politely when we pass over our wallets.
