An early summer haze has descended upon the Appalachians.
Bringing with it a stark reality.
Too early this year did the seasons change.
“Too fast,“ I say, “How can so much happen,
In so little time?”
Living is better than not but,
The anxiety and recriminations remain.
Why does life seem so hard at times?
