I have a tendency to think about lots of things,
Thank my surgeon and the prayers of my friends.
That I am still around to ponder such things,
I love you all.
This night I was pondering,
What is love?
The bible has a very eloquent verse;
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres.
However discussing this with my wife, we decided it was more than mutual affection.
"But what?" I said, “There has to be something more.”
I gave it thought for about two minutes,
Then I came up with this:
A Secret Service agent will take a bullet to protect the President,
She said, “Because that is his job.” ”Yes," I said.
"But imagine a home invasion scenario,
I would take that bullet for you."
love is what to feel, not to think about; when love love, don't talk or ponder, man ;)) why? Because, thinking in such a dual categories, all what we say is something different from what we actually do. A funny but sincere piece of a robbery tale. Cheers, alex
