A Fireman is a hero who risks his life daily to save others. Through yore wonderful talented write I was able to experience what dangers a fireman must face, they should be respected and treasured! SC
Sounds like you have met the beast first hand: wanting to confront it, wanting to defeat it, wanting to overcome fear of it: most excellent, with many memorable, taut lines and images!

ahhh....a wee bit of pyromania? almost a smoke jumper heartbeat view? or a loverly brazen blazed metaphor for the raw things that life brings. ..adored the ending "soiled but living.........both of us, to meet Fire"; a tender finale [pardon the pun :} ]

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
Contraband Marriage, traveling along the hemline of loving after incarceration, is a love story written in lyric and free form, set in reality with a different ever after.
