The little bug

Under her shoe

Had a few legs more than two

And antenna to boot

Still, it was cute

But in her mind

Thoughts of revulsion

Of sprays and emulsion

Infestations

And gestations

Her mommy told her

Where there is one

It’s just begun

There’ll be more

Quickly into her cupboards tore

Crossbones and death

Do not inhale

Will not fail

To eradicate

Do not wait

Now suited from head to toe

Clouds of death and poison

Formaldehyde and liaison

With them she’d deal

No matter how they’d feel

Oh the little bugs start coughing

Kept her awake all night

Gave her fear and fright

Her sweet dreams too went sour

In a corner she would cower

Oh the tricks that plaque the mind

If others not your kind

Cause logic to go blind

Panic you will find

Leave only death behind.
