Tin soldiers!
They dress in different uniforms
In different defence forces
They dress in different uniforms in temples
Of different faith in different places
Some are teachers’ philosophers, or cranks
The entire
World over
Some that fight, some that preach, and some that teach
Are right the world over
And some are wrong
No one is right or wrong all the time
But yet they fight
And they are proud
But they are mindless
They follow
And believe
Doctrines
Philosophies
Faith
But they belong
That is their fear
Belonging not
Belonging gives them strength
And medals and meaning
Priestly robes and followers
Admiration and doctorates
Yet they eat and sleep and die
And in many years to come
Their bones bleached to dust
No one will remember them
No one will remember who won over whom
Had the most followers
Or the best teachers
Only the dust of time
Got richer by their demise
And does not value one over the other
Sediments might give glues of who had more iron in their blood
Or pinned to their chest
Or gold coins in their pockets
Or a pair of eye glasses
Yet the dust does not care
All caring comes from one source
And that source obey
It will remember you!

No one will remember them.....
Maybe, If they are very lucky, or infamous, a footnote in some obscure history book.
