What?? No snowblower?? You know, you are missing out on the wonders of winter by not at least trying to enjoy the snow....... Think about how flooded you would be if it were rain???? A chance to be engulfed in a winters delight......
oh that poor back, but isn't it pretty when it first falls, and doesn't it give you a childish delight (at least for a few minutes;-) and how nice it is to go in and get warm...did you dream of a white Christmas;-)?
LOL at Mr. Ed: he's gonna' be in trouble--AGAIN!! LOL
I didn't doo'd it, Jasmin; honest!! Blame the StormSpinner! She's the one chasing the winter away; here it's more like spring! I HATE warm weather in December; it's not supposed to be seventy degrees--in DECEMBER!! It goes against Mother Nature!! Very well penned; just be careful and let those snow plows do the heavy work!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
Alas, I hear my neck of the woods will be getting about six inches of that heavenly white powder today. And I sure hope my wife's back holds out - I just might get her a brand new snow shovel for Christmas! And don't wear yourself out, there's bound to be more on the way.
I didn't dood it, Jasmin--don't blame your winter on the StormSpinner! LOL
No...we can't get even a dusting, how can you when it's 70 degrees??? December should NOT be like this...makes me wonder if we'll even HAVE a winter. Probably not, haven't had one since when, oh...1983? LOL
Enjoy it for me...send some Canadian cold down this way, would you?
A nice hot bath and medicated rub might soothe those sore muscles...I can't blame my back pain on shoveling! LOL
An adorable poem of living with what you got (like it or not). Well done.
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
