We are all experts on our path through life, and God the ultimate Judge!

Expressing Feelings!

I say it the best way I can

My feelings are an open book

My passions do not ban

Or give a second look

Not intend on spreading malice

Drink from the cup of how I feel

With this truth I fill the chalice

Not for popularity appeal

It is my truth I always said

How I felt and found my way

What other truth, you have me say instead

No other truth I could obey

It’s how I read the scripture

No more wise than other

Add my truth, not other to the mixture

If not why would I bother?

Don’t feel the need my spleen to vent

Unless I feel a higher calling

Show something in a different bend

To some this might be galling

I might be wrong I might be right

But that’s not the question

The truth looks different under varied light

And mine is just suggestion

In free exchange of all such banter

Might see an other light

New path I then might wander

That brings me more delight

If with the pen or finger poke

To prey a closed mind open

But not to fix, if it aint broke

Might with tongue in cheek have spoken!

Excellent poem Jamin! Creator speaks to each of us in His own way,and what we discern from Him is our personal gift, most times, to be shared with others ,and that is what fellowship is all about. We wouldn't learn anything if we all thought exactly the same way.
(Some people just don't get it;-)

Love,
Eileen

Visions of A Skylark Dressed in Black by Aberjhani

“The woman or man who is a poet, or fiction writer, or playwright, or all of these, is engaged constantly in a jazz ballet of vocabularies, passions, genders, histories, perspectives, death, love, and life. The music of revelation announces itself to
