Who are you labouring for, and do you get the benefit of that labour, or is someone else getting the true rewards?

Poem Artwork

Exploitation!

The honey bee

She might not see

Who of her the boss might be

Works day and night

With all her might

To keep her hive supplied

Never ever gives a thought

Just does what nature her has taught

Yet someone else her rights has bought

Steals all that gathered sweet

Replaces it with need

To fill his purses greed

Unaware she is a slave

To phantom Gods a knave

Would change her nature, more than brave

We fall prey to masters yet unknown

That gather all the seeds we’ve sown

And replace them with their own

Many Gods will do this trick

Replace your sweets with syrup thick

Use your nature, or a stick!

You have it right, we the people are the new slave labor and all those in corporate headquarters everywhere are reaping the benefits and keeping them for themselves, where once they share the wealth with their employees....

Be safe,
Karen
