To add insult to injury!

I was in a hurry to say the least,

It’s the nature of the beast

I had it on a string,

To find the darn thing

Now in a hurry,

Around a tree did scurry

I looked both ways of course,

To see no peeping source

And then the problem with the zipper,

I had to fuzz and digger

Was dancing to and fro,

And fiddling down below

The build-up of the pressure,

Left me no time for leisure

To add to my frustration,

I felt a wet sensation

It didn’t wait for its release,

It did just what it please

Quickly now I looked around,

And just in time, I had it found

And then to my surprise,

There were a thousand eyes

All taking great delight,

That they on me had spied

Slowly oh so slowly on a trestle,

Up above, across a bridge, a train did wrestle

And then in midstream turn around,

Someone my bird with a spyglass found

By now I had relief I thought,

But in my hurry, the thing got caught

Pain can come in many ways to some,

And sure enough more was to come

This lady and her telescope shyly looked at me

Don’t worry said she, too small I couldn’t see

I was looking for a chickadee
