Thirsty!
A well of bliss
Love is,
If shared freely, maybe, with a kiss,
Drink its waters in abandon,
And share its bliss, with thirsty souls,
Leave no one of it wanton,
Never drink of love alone,
Place the vessel,
On thirsty lips to find a home,
Though if an empty vessel reached,
To some in need of heavens bliss,
Loves first law you have breached,
From an empty well you draught,
A broken vessel holds no water,
And cannot share, there aft,
A full jug of love might bruise the shoulder,
Its weight not shared,
Like carrying a boulder,
Go to the desert where there’s thirst,
There you’ll find relieve,
If not you share, you will be cursed,
Some might return your favour,
Return their love, into its well,
So others seeking, love might savour,
Still if not, your own, that well it will,
The sharing in its nature,
Those blissful bottoms fill,
And if you plumb its depths, you’ll find,
The more you drink, the deeper it can flow,
More love returns in kind.

The more you drink, the deeper it can flow,
More love returns in kind.
THIRST for love!!! Your heart shines through your words.
God bless you. Kathy
