The mark of Cain!
Why do we claim?
The evil mark of Cain,
Relentless without shame,
Why I ask,
Since eons past,
In shadow cast,
All noble thoughts so fast,
Is it not to see the truth?
Better, than our own abuse,
Tie ourselves a noose,
Lead ourselves from barren ground,
Follow higher muses sound,
Where pastures green abound,
Where egos treasures whither fast,
But orchids bloom at last,
Put all of murder in the past,
What does it take?
Our thirst for murder slake,
Our noble nature to awake,
No matter if we use the axe,
Or their true resources tax,
Their cries not hear with ears of wax,
Divide our sisters and our brothers,
From black and white and others,
Kill their babies and their mothers,
Will the insanity ever stop?
Or need to spill more blood,
Till nary left a drop?
We need the practice, let’s be smart,
And with other species start,
First let us engage the heart,
Then seeing with the brain,
Loves benefits would gain,
And loose the mark of Cain!

What does it take?

I would truly love to live long enough to see that, my friend.
Love Does Benefit All, some do not know the difference. The shadowed hearts need lots of love to see. They carry to much resentment & persecution, or harbor to much bitterness for whatever reason. It takes alot of energy to fuel such demise & discontent. I seen on the net somewhere (scientifically) that it takes approximately over 50 muscles to frown & only a few to smile! That says alot!
