In chains before their Gods of mammon they pray,
Delivered there on bended knees,
By their Gods, they say,
The Gods of mammon’s heavy burden upon their shoulders,
Broken spirits and broken minds, lead them in chains,
A choir of broken voices smoulders,
Entertaining their masters relentless baton,
Discontent chants, derisive broken notes,
Prayer flags and ballot boxes lead them on,
Their union only, in their holy common sacrament,
Of rhetoric, polls, charisma, and lies,
Their heavy burden to amend,
Halleluiahs the eunuchs’ choir sings,
Jubilations for the winning God,
From temples of the eunuchs’ rings,
Promises for years thereafter,
Glories that the Gods will bring,
Temples, of their Gods, hear derisive laughter!

Of rhetoric, polls, charisma, and lies
And even sadder, most people believe them.
Be always safe,
Karen
and all they have bad scraped noses by looking for pennies on the ground!
And for their gods...they will get what they prayed for.
