Treasures to fill my soul!
I’ll bring along a jug of rum,
For Peggy leg and me,
Alongside me, he flies along,
It’s wonderful that he has wings,
Not have to hopple, along the path,
Of all the very funny things,
The walnuts though he takes,
No hesitations there,
No arguments he makes,
Well, the rum it is best for me,
Its cold out in them their sticks,
While flying, not allowed to drink you see,
Just a thought, as he flies from, tree to tree,
Wanderers together in the snow,
Where it reversed, he could be me,
That little friend he knows me well,
I call him once, and there he is,
My voice his dinner bell,
His tummy full I wander on,
And feed my other friends,
More Peggy’s down the road, await my calling song,
Little Angelface, she had hers first,
Lives at the routes beginnings,
Day by day, we feel, our friendships thirst,
The other, pocket, full of goodies,
Are for the red and black, and little chip,
And for all the other little cutis,
The Cardinal and his spouse,
A bit more timid than the others,
Soon too will come, if I’ll stop and pause,
The newest flock, with varied colours,
Now many with their hands outstretched,
With joy can hear them holler,
From far away now come to see,
Winged creatures on the hand,
To see how this could be,
Much happiness along that path,
Deep in quiet winters snow,
Much multiplied it has.
