What’s in a name?
Life and death for some,
Death for some a game,
And silver coins a sum,
For a buck or two,
Will fetch and trade,
A creature once to someone true ,
His conscience it could wait,
Snatch him from a street or barn,
Sell him like a slave,
Not care who does it harm,
This creature would not save,
A pound, or lab, or breeding stock,
No matter what as long,
Another coin puts in his sock,
And the state it goes along,
Slavers of our modern day,
No shackles though they need,
No law stands in his way,
To do his dirty deed,
It’s time this be reversed,
We put the shackles on the man,
It’s time that he is cursed,
It’s time this practice ban.©
That picture alone, makes me ill, and once again ashamed, of our human race.
