Though God's me love and life bequeth,
to end it, is my only grieve.
This be for the my dear friend the Paw, her challenge, bless you!

Jasmin is my life, all colourful and whole,
A piece of heaven in my soul,
Saint’s and sinners too,
Mensch and Tier to you,
In-between them I exist,
That’s about the gist,

Hail the God’s the giveth live,
Of love, had warmth and tears and strife,
Refuse not all there is,
Soul not brain, my aim and bliss,
Thankful in this world exist,

Eden in my life, I too have found,
Pleasures of this life in me abound,

Sensuous feelings deep and rich,
Enjoyed and shared with saint and witch,
In all the angels place my trust,
Love them all, but one I must,
Even to the end of time,
Remain, forever true , for she is mine. ©

Your honesty is one of the qualities that endears you to so many. Wonderful response to Bear's challenge. She is fortunate to call you 'friend'...

You got it, Jasmin. It doesn't hurt to improve the brain, but existence isn't worthy without that improvement to the soul. That's part of why I'm missing you---two poems and an article you haven't looked at----and I tell you truthfully, there's no touch like Jasmin's............Jerry

Hi Jasmin, You, my friend, are True North! Your dignity is revealed in every word. To be true to self and the one you love is the best religion. Thank you for being my dear friend.... nose sniffle and sigh..... :)

In Spirit,
Bear

Jasmin,
Wonderfully expressive poem of your own nature and being; particularly like your phrasing and word choices, and love, "Enjoyed and shared with saint and witch," ...that is so good.
