I know you’ve heard the term,
I’m sure you did,
Birds of a feather,
Lysol I buy a lot of now,
I try to stay ahead,
Not let it build up, so to speak,
Clean it now, instead,
Do I have to hire a minister?
I mean this sanctuary,
Seems to attract a flock,
A temple of sorts it must be,
In their little minds,
Sorry, but this you had to see,
The red, red robin, bobs in and out,
And that’s ok, it’s his place,
But now others come and take his space,
What do I see, but a sparrow?
Yes indeed, sitting calmly, not moving,
Not even when I approach,
I said, are you Booboo’s friend?
No matter how close I get,
He’s not moving, he doesn’t fret,
Booboo is now taking a bath,
And we’re all wet,
What is this, a zoo, hm?
Booboo flies to the sun,
Out to dry on a branch,
And guess who’s left with whom,
I reached deep into my pockets,
And sure enough some nuts I found,
I see you’re not astound,
Birds like them, peanuts that is,
This little rascal had a full helping,
Plus some left over French fries,
Swear, God’s truth, I tell no lies,
I am wondering is it some vibes I send out,
This affection of our feathered friends,
I ask, what’s this all about?©11/09/2009

Definite vibes...and not just to the birds. Are you moving to Assisi soon or staying put? How well you entertain and enlighten with these gems!
