I fear no more lightning
Flashes dancing around me white
As I sit here in solitude
Writing another poem
In strive to please the self
Every day
In stormy weather now
With another storm raging in my heart
Like nature
In mid winter and rough weather
So malevolent and oh so dark
Maybe
By chance
Or by nature
Like waves
It might change course and leave
As it brush upon my thoughts
Towards the pebbled shore of my soul
Mocking me in silence
And make my thoughts
Expand
As I sit here in solitude
Angst, for me, turns into either a positive or negative depending on the situation. It is always a lesson to be learned anyway and I always enjoy a lesson.

Ted, guilt & remorse can rob the soul and fill us with a lack of good sense, but we have a Creator who can destroy the angst in our souls, thus, releasing our angst eternally. These words are full of wisdom & truths. Loved it!
I believe in using the power of angst in positive ways, I doubt we will ever be totally free from it but what we do with it is the important thing! Thought provoking as always Ted.
