You settle in your cramped up chair
And pull your seat belt tight
Its hard to control your beating heart
Why the hell did you book this flight?
Your passing things so quickly now
And the runways getting small
Oh Lord, please let us take off soon
Or its going to kill us all
Then the plane lifts into a stormy sky
And some wind sheer sweeps her round
You pray and pray, then close your eyes
Cause' your sure she'll hit the ground
Then turbulence shakes the plane so hard
It goes on for two long hours
And as you glance across the wing
You can see your funeral flowers
Your sure this plane is going to crash
You won't listen to reason why
So you fight to put up a courageous face
But you soon begin to cry
But the plane it lands so smoothly
And your foolish heart slows down
Then you feel exhilerated
When your feet they touch the ground
But the sweat is forming on your brow
And your mind works overtime
Cause' the plane that flew you over here
Flies you back in two weeks time
