Falling Star

The night falls

as darkness comes,

enveloping us

with the moon and stars

A flaming one falls,

burning fiery red

We bathe in silver light,

astounded by the cosmos

and watch the tail of night

falling with a halo

The midnight tolls

as shadows lurk,

I see her silhouette

moving across my path

She’s like a flaming star,

before the dawn

The sun is rising,

as morning breaks

We embrace in the dying embers

of night in it’s full glory

We would meet again

and fall together, ravishing

one another in love,

bathing in the silver light

Her light illuminates me,

our kisses are like fire

We burn and ache

to touch the beauty

My eyes in the moon light

fall upon your essence,

You speak to me, I love you

as we embrace passionately

The night ends,

A flaming one falls

She burns a fiery red
