Sun Melt

The sun melts in the sky,

floating over our eyes

filled now with stars

that ran like water,

fiery ones that burned,

like the red orb

that melted slow

The sun melts the rain

into a sun ray,

into the hues of a rainbow

The rain falling

flowing into our eyes

piercing them with light

The lightning bolts

crash thunderously,

in a twilight sky

The earth is round,

revolving cosmically

gravity is pulling,

our cloudy minds

into the night

The sun is a mere thought

of a fading memory,

of a cosmic dream,

capturing the moon beams,

which shine in our minds

The silver light covers shadows,

lurking in our dreams

The sun melts into the horizon

to return again

it floats upward in a glory

A glorious sunrise of red,

which we celebrate and watch

with bright fiery eyes

The sun floats across the sky,

from the sea and the mountains

to shine upon us

The sun smiles upon our souls,

setting over rainbows,

at which the angels marvel at

Our memories return us,

melting like the sun into our souls
