As I lie down...

As I lie down on the grass...

in the park,

A warm sunny day

so lazy, I relax

As I look into the sky

and watch the clouds go by,

A vision appears to me

It has shape and form,

It pops into my mind,

I see a sail boat

A fire breathing dragon

The orb grows hot,

sweating I watch

As with clouds

life drifts by,

in the park, upon the grass,

I hear sounds

of birds singing,

in the tree tops swaying,

The breeze chimes in,

while I listen,

I hear humming,

A bee buzzes by

looking for sweet nectar,

cicadas play along,

rubbing their legs together,

for harmony

As I lie down on the grass...

in the park,

A beautiful day goes by

As I look into the sky,

clouds change shape,

drift by saying, so long

A vision appears,

A smiling face,

A body shape,

I watch her swim in the lake,

water glistens,

reflecting my vision,

I see magic,

As I dream,

A day goes by,

twilight forms a night,

to rest my eyes

As I lie down on the grass...
