A Peachy Sunset
I look into
The peachy sunset,
taste its sweetness,
of scattered sun light,
in a rainy mist
A heavenly hue,
appears in tandem,
with the rising moon
The peaks just disappear,
as the sun sets low,
The showers lift,
lighting up raspberry mountains,
with whipped cream tips
There is scattered rumblings,
as lightning licks
The sweet concoction
I watch the peachy twilight,
tasting the sunshine,
as it dips over the peaks,
tantalizing the sky,
with night coming
A mist scatters the mind,
weeping longingly,
The peaks wet and dripping
A colorful rainbow,
tantalizes us with vision,
We see its secrets
chased into the void,
The sun now gone
We await a peachy sunrise,
to taste its sweetness,
to feel its heat
