I Am Home

I’m looking for my way,

back home

There will be no hesitation,

you speak aloud

and mark the day,

the day I changed,

to walk another path

without fear

This will define me,

you speak aloud

and mark the spot,

on my path

where I turned around

to find the way

There are no signposts,

you speak to yourself,

then I turned to find

I can go anywhere,

where home is kept

You had arrived home,

where it had always been,

yet no one met you,

without welcome, you wept

This is my home,

you proclaim

I will always wander,

yet I shall return,

cause I have many directions

to discover, leading me home,

that which surrounds us,

There is illumination

I am Home
