Warrior Poet The warrior poet cuts with words He uses his verse as a shield His might is thought His speech is form in motion swift and fast quickly he reacts with rhyme and rhythm attacking injustice and ignorance His soul is fortified with joy and love The warrior poet cuts lies and falsehoods into bits and pieces capturing the truth left on the battle field of merciless wit His words are his sword His muse is his guardian His steed is his pen His life is the paper The peace in his heart is joy on the field His fury is compassion of the beauty of his faith � CJ Clark
