haunts the highway

The ones I drive in car dreams

with my girl friends

sitting close beside me

now lie buried and gone

haunting nobody

I feel for the curves

but can’t feel a thing

cause I’m dreaming

of the real fling

So I traverse the curves

of dreams

of haunted ghosts

of lovers lanes

of a woman’s body

and while you’re at it

throw in a curve
