Ink stained passions...

A poetess speaks to me
she said you dare to pen
these longings in your eyes

A verse speaks to me
musing softly in my ear
desires I could almost touch

Ink stained fingers trembling
This poet reeks of pain

A poetess speaks to me
she said you carry sorrow
so passionately

Her verse cries out to me
with these lines of sensuality
She commands respect

Shaking I write respectfully
of adoration for your words

Hopefully you can read
these ink stained truths
for there is no tomorrow

Only today is relevant
and now is all I have

Time is masterful
The great delusion
making believe in magic

I am under your spell
beautiful poetess
for your words ring true

My adoration for your verse is passion
Oh poetess, you are my friend
your words are fiery and tempestuous

Forget yesterday and tomorrow
we only have eternity and a day
