Karmic Love
I can’t dance
with stars-not anymore
They’ve made me sad
shining so very bright
inside I feel so dull
I can’t paint love
on this canvas of blood
The milky way is flowing
like tears run from my eyes
sparkling in the starry night
We lie together so heavenly
wishing to believe in karma
The colors of my palette
were painted in my heart
It beat for joy and sorrow
Your heart was a slip of bliss
like the quarter moon in mist
I fear sweet youth has fled
We’re young for a moment
then time ages us boldly
I can’t dance
the light fandango
nor fake romance
It’s gentle in my memory
but now unloved I cry futilely
I move silent
dreaming love is karma

I read this yesterday but didn't make it back here to comment.
It is very touching!
P.S. I looked into some of the things you were asking
me about and I will be sending you some information tonight.:)
it's gentle in my memory - love that
Thanks Dale

this is like an anchor to a poem that skillfully conveys the desire to dance free and the illusion that we can do no more because of the calendar or the clock. really nice write. Dawn
comes with the knowing of Karma...Our hearts can always
soar if we remember to dream...
