Reflections

I look into the pool
of life
reflecting my emotions

The oceans of time
paused in each moment
reflecting my life

I laugh, I cry
but shall die

Should our love die?
Should our hearts break?

I look into the sky
of blue
reflecting why

The pool I look into
shimmers
reflecting our time

Should we love again?
Should our souls unite?

Our life and time are
mere reflections
of love

Reflections are quivering
but never broken
It’s our bond

We love without question
and die without regret
