The Light of Beauty


Beauty,
lies sleeping in the garden
upon the lush greenery
among the colors
surrounded by springs aroma


Beauty,
in the void of darkness
She holds the only light
to illuminate us
Vision imparts the purity


The Light of Beauty


I watch the angels
as the hover over her
I called to them
Please take me there
I can’t cross the abyss


When I crossed over
I admired her there
I leaned down to kiss her
and the world came alive
Creation of the light


The Light of Beauty


Beauty,
was now love in truth
and the angels rejoiced
for heaven was brighter
A blue planet was born

Although all gorgeous and wonderfully wrought, it was especially the first half of this poem which for me, Dale, stands alone in the purity and strength of it's message... it is the most uplifting of many delightful writes I have read this evening and inspires me to try to get my Muse out of the doldrums and back into the Beauty that you so eloquently express here. Reminds me somewhat of the U2 song about Grace. Guess the two go hand in hand, fair maidens that they are??!! Gotta luv this and is JUST what I need. Bless you and thank you. Kate xx
