Aimless Wanderings
aimless these wanderings
where could one go
when your shoes have holes
you must jump the train
like a hobo
listen for the whistle
sing a refrain
like the songs of sirens
those temptuous callings
it could drive a man insane
or to drink
so boldly I go
into the great beyond
where else can one go
has to be more fun
than apocalyptic panic
the hatred in men’s hearts
as they wait for the worse
no crying then
only screaming
amidst great howls of regret
so I wander aimless
like shoeless bohemians

Sometimes, we discover wondrous things while wandering aimlessly.
Hope that many treasures are on your path.

Have shoe will travel..
He travels light, who travels with God's grace..
Excellent and evocative metaphorical composition
