A Trick of the Light The sun arose out of a dark abyss bringing birth giving youth Another day? Nothing remains the same not the night or day Lovers under a moon lit sky shadows that run and hide a trick of the light Beams of sliver sight The sun arises we hide in the shade Another day? Nothing remains the same the night is the trickster the trickster of youth We are shadows Running into corners down corridors of time a trick of the light Boggled minds, feverish tricked to believe in forever Another day? to be continued? �Dale Clark

A trick of the light indeed... Can't quite remember the poem, but its sentiments really stuck in my mind that it is the DAY that robs the night of its honest integrity to love and to shield... this reminds me. The image of lovers fleeing like shadows in daylight is superb. TY K xx
