I was thinking of how people grieve
and how they think of death. So I
came up with this...it touches on
what I believe.

Separate Lives

a moment of life
lasts a short time
but it must change
and will

is death the finality?

I've heard as much
but don't believe it

birth and death
tied together always
beginnings and endings

or the beginning of a new ending
the ending of a new beginning

I dream of death
I dream of life

is birth the finality?

some say separate
like separate realities
life has many facets

dimensions and time
disappearing into the light
in seasons
cosmic changing

it's maybe all one and the same
