Great Plains

Great Plains

amber flowing
glow
buffalo grass
blowing

where sitting
a bull
on long hair
blonde

travel muddy waters
flow out of
black hills
sacred

elk dogs
woven multicolored
painted blankets
cover burnt sienna plains

to Cheyenne
near rocky horizon
west in purple
tipped white tops

Lakota dance
into Canadian
winters cold water flow
frozen

great plains
distant thunder
fire water
raining

glaciers melting
bergs floating
carrying tall tales
a Pow Wow

Sure conjures up images of all the great native american tribes that once called all the plains there home in US and Canada...
