Old Man Winter

snoring wintry dreams
timeless hibernation
a frozen void
stolid O-zone
tilting axis
sneezing snowy squalls

spring thawing
streaming misty fog
rising into a warm mirage

bubbling brooks
flowing tributaries
into flowing rivers
to the sea
singing moony tunes

spinning hammock
of a summers dream
whispers the breeze

snoring summery dreams
warm awakenings
into august dog days

a snoozing breeze
blows from summer
into fall

snoring autumns dreams
jilting harvest moon
headless horseman
spitting pumpkin seeds
orbiting orange glow

soaring hazy mirage
a mid summers dream
turns into fading memories

tumbling stones
rolling dice
throwing snake eyes

simmering Indian summer
heated rounded shadows
shady cool groves
soothing fading sun
savoring summers last breath

sun dialing home
blowing windless
bumbling schemes

snoring wintry dreams
when the cold winds blow
in furious gusts

spring awaits
it's rebirth
thawing mother earth
warming youth
to become summer romance

an enchanted dance
of seasonal roulette
endless cycles
of falling, fading age
reborn to youth again

furious gusts blow
into one frozen gasp
Old Man Winter
