Crossroads

crossed by a zig zag
sky falling
high way...way
longing languidly

a zig zag
crossing

the line_
--demarcation
shimmering

crossing a time
high way...way

a zig zag
losing your mind

stony long...long
sounds sublime
listen...
hear...

the chime
way...way
far...far
away

crossing a zig zag
dimensions
lines cross
flying by
wishing, hopeful
connections
shining lie
long...long
long ago

losing the day
a stony deep note
sounds the chime
listen...
hear...
way...way
far...far
away

crossing the line
sky falling

a zig zag
intersection

crossroads

Interesting, the way you explore these words and sounds; there is music in this poem.

zigging and zagging all the way to the zoo to zee the zebras... this flashes like a pelican crossing and would send me dizzifed round in circles, I think.... Losing my mind or what?! Now, if I could only get to that clear-sounding chime, I'm sure all would become sane... Crossroads that are cross-hatched: space to think would be good but there never is, just when you need it... like at decision-time. I like the falling together of words and ideas at this busy poetic junction, Dale! :)) xx
