Discombobulated Blues

I got those discombobulated blues
when my mind wanders
clambering in wonderment
about all living things

humans and beasts 
trees, flowers, and rocks
stony mountain tops
rivers flowing
silently roaring

my ears ring
 from the dazzling music
of discombobulated blues

I lay down
in the tall grass,
in the meadow,
in the by and by,
at the road of the living

I wander dreaming
of differing realms
flashing, flickering,
awakenings

So many varied
thoughts and actions
drifting into a melody
of discombobulated blues

I meditate eternities
my mind at ease
my soul drifting in the void
always having been
forever being
