This is a repost, I guess ;) Geez, I can't keep track.
The Sketching Clouds of dusty charcoal rise above the visage A pickup traveling a dirt road Dreaming in the night Dreaming in the day Like twilight nothing under the sun nothing over the hill Endless horizons The beauty, the peace brightens life Enlightenment as a dream comes, it's your dream Clouds drifting overhead Shaded, the sun is yours in the sketching Get your colors out A pickup now blue washed in the rain The setting is graphic Dreaming in the night Dreaming in the day Pickups, tractors in green fields horses in the meadows Cattle chewing their cuds Paths lead to water a bubbling spring Clean and cool brook Your dream A sketching of the mind Shaded colors peak Bulbous detail appearing as dust Your dream now charcoal A peace in the sketching (c) D.E. I like the way this comes together, Dale, very much like each addition of colour and stroke to your canvas. The mood and tone, too. The short phrases add to the sense of concentration and deft movement. xx
