subtle moments
retracted by gravity
yesterdays become your dreams
hauntingly sublime
in melancholic joy

Dale, I know exactly where this one came from. I too feel the same. Upon awakening from dreams that tell you to live and enjoy each waking moment and take wisdom and advice from your dream state of mind. I believe that dreams are the windows to your past, present and future. We must open our minds and eyes and see what they are trying to show us.
Thought provoking poem indeed for your first of the New Year. Bravo great mysticism.

Talk about hitting the nail on the head~!! Not to seize the moment
is insane. It is so easy to convince ourselves that there is such a thing as permanency. That we have some degree of control, when in fact, we have none whatsoever. Except, perhaps, the ability to live the few moments that we are able to seize in a way that will not leave us ashamed, and to show our love by sharing them.
