where dreams come true we long for intimacy wishing, never to be alone unable to live without love lost without it longing to be touched our bodies floating in the mist drifting into the nebula gathering like the morning dew only to evaporate we gather with the clouds casting shadows upon the ground waiting for the rain to release our tears realizing love we grasp at our fears keeping us from happiness wishing love to be real anxious for laughter to join with passion we erupt into affection wishing for eternity to carry us into starry ethereal heights dreaming to be as one, forever 4-12-09 D.E. In our dreams we can be anyone or anything, visit places anywhere, but always during waking dreams do we have the ability to really soar to new heights. Beautiful poetry, Dale.
