Smile of a Goddess

An earthen glow
and a goddess she
came from the sea

The sun shone
upon the moon
and the stars flew
she smiled
beauty was born
with desire and passion
hearts were broken

An ocean of light
and a goddess she
came from the heavens
her smile illuminated
the golden sea
sun-rays shone upon
the angels and the earth

Sailing the Nile
river of life
where creation begin
at the feet
of the Phoenix
blows the wind
rolling the mighty dunes

Caravans traversing
ancient lines
drawn in the sand
worshiping mirages
green oasis tempting thirst
water of life lies
deep beneath the earth

As sea meets land
and the goddess she
sailed the blustery waves
and the stars flowed
into the night breeze
the moon arose
shining brilliant

The winds of time
arose from the sand
breathing life’s creation
smiling upon man
and the goddess she
has returned to the sea

Reflections of beauty
And the smile of a goddess
she ‘s captured me
