Upon Highway Upon highway at dusk death lies in waiting the living lie dying pooling into the shadows Upon highway of seasons time lies in waiting sleep lies dreaming the shadows reach for you Upon highway at twilight winter lies dormant freezing of springs youth ice cold memories Upon highway at midnight lost now bleeding awash in moonlight lie the graves of long dead Upon highway at dawn green grass sweet as clover lies a summers day cicadas humming blissful Upon highway at mid day lie bones in sheer whiteness phantoms merely a mirage disappear at your approach � 2003 CJ Clark All Rights Reserved
