the rain came whispering unto the breeze summer’s here to carry me meandering along a meadow I’m a summer shower a creek just trickling down the mountain slope over rocks and boulders into a roaring river summer’s here caressing my banks to soothe me rambling and serpentine flowing to the sea I’m a summer rain coming from clouds of gray stormy sky’s delight me thunder claps & lightning bolts whispering in the night summer’s here the sun rises hot & sultry the heat is like a fever to warm my heart beating for my summer lover the summer rain cools our passion awaiting to embrace twilight the silver moon arises to light the summer night © 2003 CJ Clark All Rights Reserved
