Your shattered dreams
came true in pieces
like broken glass
Shards which cut
first one then another
The dreams of lovers
The nightmares
One piece love
another lust
The phantoms
ride horses of distortions
they paw the ground
creating thunderous sound
Your shattered dreams
No one could put back
together again
Our dream of love
We embrace
in fields of clover
sweet like your kisses
Your perfume filled
the many rooms
each one had a chair
all empty now
except for one
where I sit waiting
for your return
We’ll lie together
in sheets of satin
slipping off to dream
hoping for love
not to shatter again
Fluid and smooth. As warm and cosy feeling, and secure, as a winter day sitting near a hearth. Your heart opens in warmth and hope, and so your poetry expresses as much and more. Good writing, Dale!

Dale.... I love how you are a sucker for kisses. :) Your images are so fine. One would be a fool to not return. May your poet heart run on forever!
