Mountains upon water
of blue planet
Oceans upon land
of rock & granite
sand & clay
Creatures of the depths
awaken to another day
sunlight far above
Frozen berg of penguins
huddle for warmth
amassed for assault
of Seal & Walrus
who feed within
the briny deep
Storms pound coastline
of Axis
North & South
Furious waves realign
Earthquakes far below
raising life from the bottom
seeking the warmth
who swim in swarms
clustered circling to survive
the appetite of predators
creatures of the deep
moving for survival
in constant search
of light & dark
a perplexing mystery
of existence
upon the waters
of Blue Planet
