I see the flow trickle slowly away It’s left me Speechless I feet nothing The days bleed together I watch time like pages in a book wind blown, tearing one then another The story is sad I hear the clock lose track of the weeks The numbers of the days The quarters of the moon Mars appears I scan the horizon awaiting your arrival Something to arise Anything at all A light appears I’m Speechless without a thing to say with not a soul to share my pain Beauty is allusive I’m so lonely so restless in my head My mind’s puzzled Nothing is clear, lucid true or meaningful How can I go on? I’m Speechless and the silence is all I have How far will I fall? Suddenly I see a light shine over a distant night Memories are haunting me I’m reminded of my plight I don’t say a thing It all happened before © 2003 CJ Clark All Rights Reserved
