Fully Lunar

I was eclipsed
fully lunar
if the clouds would dissipate
then I could see the event
but then the earth
got right in the way
The moon was darkened red
and the sun couldn’t shine
on me

I was becoming round
and had an orbit
with the blue planet
in full view
I was star struck
love was fully lunar
eclipsed as it was
and the moon couldn’t shine
on me

I was exposed
to the far side
of the darkened moon
The tip shined
fully nude
awaiting sun set
to caress the horizon
If only to grasp her
cosmic illusion

I was fully lunar
as shadows in relief
with a starry night
now full moon shines
exploding emotive
in the far east
reaching for the eclipse
love is to blame
for its stellar event

Hi Dale,

Remember where there is darkness there has to be light

somewhere....even if the sun comes Up the next day...take a good

look and you will see the silver lining Dale!!

This is a very beautiful dark....and sad write indeed!!
